Carolyn Sue Walker 65 of Charleston passed away at home April 10, 2013. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk with over 25 years of service and attended Greenlee United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, Jesse and Dorothy Holmes Goins; brothers, Harold A. and Terry Goins and sister Marlena Haynes. Surviving her are husband, Jerry Walker; son, Richard A. Burdette, Jr., of Charleston and daughter, Dena Lynn Bowles of Charleston. Grandchildren, Blake Burdette, Rickayla Coiner, Ricky Lee Bowles and Ethan Holmes. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday April 15, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. William K. Berry officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be 2 hours prior to services also on Monday.
