Carolyn Lynn Reed, 68, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord after a long illness on September 11, 2015. She was born August 17, 1947 to Warren G. and Arbutus C. Reed, who preceded her in death. Carolyn was a 1965 graduate of Sissonville High School. She was a beautician for 15 years before becoming disabled. Carolyn also loved photography and painting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Warren "Butch" Reed, Jr. Surviving are her loving brothers, Chuck Reed and wife, Janet of Cross Lanes, Mike Reed and wife, Teresa of Sissonville, Gary Reed and wife, Gerry of Sissonville, and Terry Reed. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor David VanHorn officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service time also at the funeral home.
