Carolyn Casdorph Brewer, born on May 5, 1951, in Charleston WV passed away suddenly in her home on June 4,2025. She was a beloved daughter of the late William Earl and Phyllis Casdorph. In April of 1970, she married her soulmate the late Tommy Brewer. She graduated from Sissonville High School. During 1973 she started transitioning into motherhood. She took pride in her home, children, and grandchildren, although she had an open-door policy to anyone who needed a place to call home. She is survived by daughter Kimberly Gilmore and her late husband Junney, daughter April Myers and her husband Robert, son Tommy (T.L.) Brewer Jr., son Shawn Brewer and his wife Michelle, and son Troy Dowell.

She also leaves behind her grandchildren Joshua Myers and his wife Skylar, Amanda Elkins and her husband Jamie, Katilyn Hicks, Todd Myers and his wife Kristiana, Kailyn Pettry, Destiney Jarrell and her husband Christopher, Noah Brewer, Taylor Rogof , Sydney Gilmore, Aubree Dowell, and Kynleigh Dowell. She also leaves behind great grandchildren Bentley and Oaklee Myers, Jamieson and Paxton Elkins and siblings Peggy Lyons and her husband David, Jackie Smith and her husband Dale, Danny Casdorph, Jimmy Casdorph, and the late Gale Casdorph, along with 7 nieces, 6 nephews, 4 great-nieces, and 6 great-nephews, as well as her lifelong bestfriend of fifty- four years Judy Parsons and her children Charlie and his wife Juanita, Pamela, and Benjamin and his wife Christy.

A special thanks to Charlie Parsons for always being there for Carolyn and her family whenever they needed him without hesitation. The family would also like to thank Laura Harvey for being there in times like these.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 16th, 2025 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Minister Travis Jordan officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Graveside burial will follow privately.

Carolyn's family, Joshua Myers, Todd Myers, Jacob Casdorph, Jamie Casdorph, Noah Brewer, and Jamie Elkins will serve as pallbearers.
