Bridgette Higginbotham Bridgette Higginbotham 92 of Charleston went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2014. She was a Graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School; member of Davis Chapel Church; former employee of Cohen Drug Store with 19 years of services and was a caregiver. Preceding her in death were her husband Don Higginbotham; infant son, Ivan Don Higginbotham, Jr. and 4 brothers. Survivors include her son, Roger Higginbotham and wife Sherry of Charleston and Alan Higginbotham and wife Donna of Beckley; brother, Denver Miller of St. Cloud, Florida; sister, Shirley Humphreys of Charleston; grandchildren, Angela Newsom, Beth White, Crystal Osborne, Don Alan Higginbotham and 6 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday September 10, 2014 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. William K. Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Jarrett Cemetery, Elkview. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the staff of Cedar Ridge for their compassion and excellent care over the years.
