Brenda Kay (Jones) Wilkinson

On July 5, 2022, Brenda Kay Wilkinson, widowed mother of three children (two of them deceased) and three grandchildren, passed away, she was 77 years old.

Brenda was born on August 13, 1944, in Charleston, WV.She was the daughter of Samuel and Mollie (Reece) Jones.She was a life-long resident of Kanawha county, WV.She loved her family, was an excellent cook, an avid animal lover, and a great gardener, and worshiped WQBE 97.5, she listened all the time.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Samuel; mother Mollie, first husband Claire Curtis McKemy, Jr.; husband Adrian Wilkinson; sons, Richard (Rick) McKemy and Shawn McKemy; grandson Joshua Burdette and cousin Donald Cain.

She is survived by her daughter Paula (McKemy) Jones and Dwayne Mobley; grandson, Holdon Burdette; granddaughter Bailey McKemy; brother, Dennis Jones and wife Maryann; cousin Thomas Reece; many nephews and nieces.She loved her dogs Shay and Abby.

Graveside services and burial will be at 11:00 AM, Monday July 11, 2022 inFloral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico with Pastor John Jenkins officiating.
