Brandon James Kenneth Baldwin 28 of Charleston passed away November 10, 2014. He was a 2005 graduate of Sissonville High School, enlisted in the US Marine Corp in August 2005 and served his country for 4 years, having 3 tours in Iraq where he received numerous medals and citations. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed cooking and being with his family and friends. Preceding him in death were his grandparents Herman and Ethel Baldwin; maternal grandparents Conrad and Audrey Beane; fallen marine brother, Nicholas James Palmer, who was killed in action during Brandon's 1st tour in Iraq. Survivors include his parents, James K. and Carolyn Baldwin; "the love of his life his children" Nicholas James and Emily Marine Baldwin; fiancé and her children, Megan Baldwin and Kenneth and Kayana Mowrer; brothers and sisters, Jimmy Baldwin and wife Tina; Glenda Layne and husband Gil; Philip Baldwin; Amanda Burdette; Mike Burdette; Eric Burdette and wife Kendra. Special niece who he adored, Hope Burdette and several other nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles who he loved, best friends and special cousins, J.D. Beane and Mark Allen Coleman. Friend and co-worker, Wayne Anderson, god parents, Glennis and Linda Baldwin and faithful companion, his dog Duke. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Monday November 17, 2014 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Boggs officiating. Burial with Military graveside rites provided by the Herbert J. Thomas Marine Corp. League will follow in Jim Beane Cemetery, Charleston.
