Bradie "Buck" Shaffer, 85, of Charleston passed away June 14, 2010. He was a WWII Army Veteran, Former Mechanic, Self-Employed Wallpaper Hanger and Painter in the Charleston area for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his companion Letha Miller, and Sister Ruth Myers, Former Wife and Mother of his children Maxine Shaffer. Surviving him is children; Paul E. Shaffer, and wife Donna of Glen Allen, Virginia; Frances Stephens of Charleston; Bradie Shaffer, Jr, and wife Connie of St. Albans; Terry W. Shaffer and wife Brenda of Charleston. 10 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday June 17, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. William K. Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Billy Hunt Cemetery, Roane County, WV. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
