Blanche Annabelle Mitchell, 72, of Smithers, WV formerly of Charleston, was called home to heaven on January 6, 2023, at CAMC Memorial Hospital.  She was born September 1, 1950 in Jackson County, WV.

Preceding her in death were her parents, James O. White and Helen M. Burdette; brother, James R. White and sister-in-law, Mary Ann White.

Blanche was a long time worker in the Charleston Area with Valley Bell, Neighbormart, Save A Lot, Fas Check, Foodland, Papa Johns and Ginos.  In her work she made many friends along the way.  She also volunteered at KVSS Center in Charleston.

She is survived by sons, Dewayne (Elizabeth) Sigman of Kimberly; Jimmy Mitchell of Akron, Ohio; sisters, Matilda (Frank) Wilson of Arkansas, Lorena Riley of Florida; brother, Frank Swindell of Florida; grandchildren, Tim and Scott McKeever of Charleston, James (Ciara) McKeever of Teays Valley, Austin Perdue, MacKenzie, Logan, and Lydia Sigman of Kimberly, great grandchildren, Brayden and Grayson McKeever of Teays Valley; and a large number of extended family, cousins, nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes her body will be cremated with no services at this time.
