Billy Eugene Javins Billy Eugene Javins, 75, of Cross Lanes, passed away November 6, 2010 after a long illness. Billy was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired Welder from the Boilmakers Union. He was a very active member of V.F.W. and American Legion where he held positions, Post Commander and State Quarter Master. He was preceded in death by his Parents, William and Mary Mercer Javins, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; Sisters, Grace Hornsby of Marion Ohio and Madeline Sullivan of New Boston, Ohio. Surviving him is his Loving Wife of 45 years, Rose Quigley Javins. Children, William Grant Javins and wife Gail of Knoxville, Tennessee; Steven Eugene Javins and wife Pam of Taylorsville, Kentucky; Kathy Diane Funk and husband Fred of Knoxville, Tennessee; Charles Michael Javins and wife Kathy of Louisville, Kentucky; Pamela Sue Javins of Charleston; Sharon Lynn Howard and husband of Lewis of Martinsburg, and William Eugene Javins of Charleston. Brother, James Curtis Javins and wife Sandra of Columbus, Ohio. 20 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday November 10, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Conn officiating. Burial with Military Graveside rights provided by American Legion Post 61 Clendenin in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home. .
