Billie Kay Layne 75, of Kenna went home to be with the Lord, Apr 29, 2022 at Hubbard Hospice House, South Charleston after a short illness.
Kay was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and member of Starcher Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Elmer T. and Dorothy Ruth Means Snodgrass.
She is survived by her loving husband Paul Lee Layne, Jr; sons, Paul Lee Layne, III of Charleston, Shawn Cary Lee of Elkview and Kelly Christopher Layne of Newark, Ohio grandchildren, Kaylee, Connor, Taylor, Lacy, Ava, Tanner and Ella; sister, Ann Baker of Columbus, Ohio, brother, Rick Snodgrass and wife April of Charleston and Brad Snodgrass and wife Liz of Winchester, Virginia and her aunt Mary Bolin.Also surviving is her fur baby, Lainey, who loved her dearly.
Memorial services will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Starcher Baptist Church, Charleston, with Chaplain Pete Thompson officiating.A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to services, also at the church.
