Beulah B. King, 88, of Charleston, went home to the Lord October 24, 2013. She was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School and was employed by True Temper over 30 years as a comptometer operator. Beulah was also a member of Fisher Chapel Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. King; parents, William B. and Lucy A. Harper Parsons; sisters, Pearl Guthrie, Gail Allison, Moskie Burford and Claudine "Katie" Byrne; and brothers, Elbert, Leslie and Aubrey Parsons. Survivors include her loving son, Mark A. King and wife April of Inman, SC; grandchildren, Andrew King, Riannon Simpkins, Kara King and Emily King; great-granddaughter, Anabelle Simpkins; sisters, Naomi Huston of Whitehouse, TN and Mona Presley of South Charleston; and brother, Robert Parsons of St. Albans. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to service time at the funeral home.
