Betty Jo Toler Witt, 75, of Charleston faithfully crossed the finish line of her race in peaceful victory November 11, 2014 surrounded by her family. Betty was born in Marmet, WV on September 17, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Kellis and Kathleen Toler. She was the beloved "Grammy" of the North Charleston Apostolic Church and a founder of the "Patches & Pieces" quilt club. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Kellis Toler, Jr., Kenneth Toler and Clyde Toler and her sister Elizabeth "Libby" Richardson. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Clifford H. Witt; children Cindy Means and husband Tony of Charleston; Beverly Graley and husband Tim of Poca; Randy Witt and wife Paula of Charleston; brother, James Toler and wife Shirley of Charleston; nine grandchildren, Tiphanii and Justin Meadors; Matthew and Ashley Means, Justin and Christi Witt, Britni and Garron Ross, Joel and Hannah Graley, Jennifer and Aaron Wright; Alexander, Bryce and Ashton Graley; three great grandchildren, Parker, Brooklyn, Bronx and honorary granddaughter, Arry'Ana; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Friday November 14, 2014 at North Charleston Apostolic Church with the Rev. Anthony Moss officiating. Entombment will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday also at the church.
