Betty Joe Hardwick 86 of Charleston passed away May 14, 2015 at Hubbard Hospice House West, South Charleston. Preceding her in death were her parents, Melvin Howard and Vada M. Gibson Reed and several brothers & sisters. Betty was an employee of Purity Bakery, retired from Kroger's, had worked at J.C. Penny and attended Charleston Mountain Mission Church. Surviving her are many nieces and nephews. Graveside services and burial will be 1:00 PM Sunday May 17, 2015 at Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville with the Rev. Dr. Earl Cochran officiating.
