Obituary

With a heavy heart, Betty Lou Carter, 85, of Clendenin passed away with her sister by her side December 16, 2024 at CAMC Hospice Care from complications of a fall.

Betty loved to watch game shows, and loved animals.  She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

Betty was born August 13, 1939 in Kanawha County.  She was the daughter of the late William and Osa Fisher.  In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband and best friend of 47 years, David Fisher.

Left to cherish her memory are sister, Collene "Sis" Fisher; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Special thanks to friend and caregiver, Rob Sprungl, and to those that offered their loving care of Betty.

Service will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 20, 2024 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, 1325 W. Washington St., Charleston with Pastor Mayford Witt officiating.  Private burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

A gathering of family and friends will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, December 19 at the funeral home.
