Betty Jane Bennett, 83, of Dunbar passed away July 28, 2011 at the Cedar Ridge Nursing Home, Sissonville. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a 40 year member of Northside Church of the Nazarene. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Bennett; son, Ronnie Bennett; parents, Wallace and Maude Rader; brother, Jack Rader; and sisters, Ginny Frazier and Juanita Eagan. Surviving Betty are son, John Stephen Bennett and wife Kim of Newburgh, Indiana; daughters, Nancy Tucker of Columbus, Ohio, and Sandy Hart and husband J.J. of Charleston; daughter-in-law, Gail Bennett; grandchildren, Angel, Donald, Ashley, Ryan, Tyler, Stephen, Michael, Rhonda, April, Jamie, Missy, Anita and Karen; 26 great-grandchildren and four great -great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11:00 o'clock, Monday August 1, 2011, at Northside Church of the Nazarene, North Charleston with the Rev. Jerry Cline officiating. Burial will follow in Dunmore Cemetery, Dunmore, WV. The family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Blvd.,W, Charleston, WV 25312 or the American Cancer Society, 1700 MacCorkle Ave., SE, Charleston, WV 25314. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services Monday at the Church.
