Bessie L. Grose, 86, of Charleston passed away October 18, 2011 at Cedar Ridge Center. Bessie was retired from Thomas Field and Company. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Clifford and Raymond Grose and sister, Eloise Scott. Surviving her is her daughter, Nancy Cross of Sissonville; grandsons, Richard Cross of St. Albans, Adam Cross and his wife Austen of Scott Depot; nieces and nephew, Margy King, Barbara Gardner and Tom Grose all of Charleston; great nieces and nephew, Katie King of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jessica Gardner of Cincinnati, Ohio and Eric King of Charleston. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 21, 2011 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be Thursday October 20, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
