Becky Young, 61, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord, June 21, 2012 after a short illness. Becky was a devout member of the Charleston Mountain Mission Church, and a longtime employee of Charleston Mountain Mission Social Services. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Charles W. Young, Sr.; son Charles W. Young, Jr. and wife Amanda of Hurricane; daughter Kelly Dowdy and husband Brian of Dunbar; mother, Martha Hall of Charleston; brother Paul Hall; sisters, Patty Garrett, Barbara Ray, and Kimberly Cantrell; grandchildren, Dalton Young, Dayton Young, Dylan Cobb, Kailey Young, Casey Samples, Adam Dowdy, Alex Dowdy, and Ashton Dowdy. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Charleston Mountain Mission with the Rev. Fairley McCormick and the Rev. Tom Price officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 pm Monday at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the Church.
