Barbara E. "Bobbie" Carter, 82, went to be with our heavenly father on 3/19/23.

Bobbie retired from Shoney's after many years of service. She enjoyed baking & cake decorating. She loved to be with her brother, Donald, and her beloved dog, Annie. Bobbie was also a HUGE fan of Alan Jackson. She was part of his fan club for many years, and actually got to meet him at one of many concerts.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert R and Sarah E Carter; brothers, Donald L Carter and Arnold Carter; and sister, Estella Reese.

Survivors include her sister, Betty White (Richard); brother, Ronald Carter; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be Monday, March 27, 2023 at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 A.M. Monday at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, 1325 W. Washington St., Charleston with the procession leaving promptly at 11:00 A.M.
