Barbara Sue "Bobbie" Cottrell, 69, of Charleston went home to be with the Lord on September 8, 2009 after a short battle with cancer. She was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High, Retired from Department of Motor Vehicles, and a Member of Dunbar Nazarene Church. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Earl and Effie Clendenin White; Brothers, Claude, Archie, Otis, Austin "Junior" , and Carl White; Sisters, Audrey Blake, Violet Cavender, Mildred Hedrick, Lorraine McAllister and Phyllis Tittle. Surviving her is her loving Husband of 35 years, Larry D. Cottrell of Charleston; Son, Rick Turley and his wife Debby of Pinch; Daughter, Teresa Wofford and her husband Pete of Maiden, North Carolina; Grandsons, Richard & Daniel Turley, C.J. Trent, & David Cottrell, and 3 Great Grandsons; Brothers, Clifford White and his wife Brenda of Xenia, Ohio; Sisters, Arvilla Becky Hurt of Rural Retreat, Virginia and Rosalee Mae Carlisle of Cold Spring, Kentucky; Daughter-in-law, Vicki Wolfe of Pinch, and several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday September 12, 2009 at Dunbar Nazarene Church, Dunbar, with the Rev. Philip Bowles and the Rev. Frank Goff officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Visitation with the Family will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the Church.
