Anthony "Toney" D. Haynes, 46 of Lehigh Acres, Florida, passed away Monday, August 31, 2009. Tony was born August 3, 1963 in Charleston and moved to Florida in 1986. He was a graduate of Sissonville High School, and a US Army Veteran. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents; Theodore and Murlie Haynes; and maternal grandparents; Grant and Mildred Shamblin. Surviving are; his wife of nine years, Toi Haynes; parents David and Kathleen Haynes of Charleston; daughters, Cheyenne Haynes of Lehigh Acres and Sara Stahl and her husband, Stephen of Fort Myers; step-son George Morris of Lehigh Acres; grandson, Mason Tyler Stahl of Fort Myers; brother Rodney Haynes and his wife, Sherry of Clendenin; niece Samantha Haynes of Clendenin; and his close friend, Michael Deschaine of Lehigh Acres. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Kanawha Two Mile Gospel Tabernacle with the Rev. David Taylor and the Rev. Pete Hedrick officiating. Burial will be in Newhouse-Haynes Cemetery, Kanawha Two Mile, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be from noon until service time Sunday at the church.
