Amanda Lee Cummings of Sissonville passed away November 1, 2018, at CAMC Memorial Hospital, at the age of 30, after a short illness. She was surrounded by family and friends.
Amanda, was a graduate of Sissonville High School and West Virginia University. She was a member of the pride of West Virginia Marching Band. Amada was a Christian with a kind and gentle spirit who loved helping others. She was loved by everyone she met and she will be sadly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, the late Hubert "Hub" Cummings; grandparents Brian Kent Kee, Truman Cummings, Sr., and Annabell Cummings.
Amanda is survived by her mother, Marsha Cummings; sister, Missy Comer and husband, Jimmy Comer,(who was like a brother to her), along with nephews, Blayne and Owen Comer; sister, Traci Cummings and grandmother, Dana Kee, all of Sissonville. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as friends that loved her dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday November 5, 2018 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home in Charleston with Pastor John Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to KPCC Counseling, 16 Leon Sullivan Way, Charleston, WV 25301. They have been a great support to the family over the last two years.
