Allen Ray Anderson Jr., 63, of Charleston, WV passed away October 29, 2017. He graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School and Ben Franklin Career Center for HVAC and Refrigeration. He was a blue collar working man who worked for the State of West Virginia and retired in March of 2017. Allen dearly loved his family and friends, was kind-hearted, open, and never met a stranger. Allen gave his daughters a love of 70's and 80's music which played all throughout his home. He loved talking to his daughters about music, movies, and history. Allen also loved to play Cowboys and Indians with his grandsons and teach them about all his different tools. He also had a love for Sci-fi movies, Star-Trek, fishing, and good food.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents Allen Ray and Stella Katherine Anderson; survived by his brother; daughters Amber and Alison Anderson; grandchildren Braxton Thomas and Hunter Ray Hively; niece, nephew, several family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday November 4, 2017 at Cunningham, Parker, & Johnson Funeral Home. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
