Ada. A. Clay, 87, of Cross Lanes formerly of Orgas, passed away June 21, 2012. She was born in Lincoln County, and was a Loving mother, and grandmother. She was a Christian all of her life having attended The Assembly of God Church in Sylvester, where she was a superintendent, Soloist and a member of a Trio. She was preceded in death by her husband Semer Clay, son, Thurman Clay, two sisters and four brothers. Surviving her are children, Iva D. Sargent of Augusta, GA, Ethelene Reese of Tega Cay, SC, Herman E. Clay of Logan and Maxine Harris of Cross Lanes, brother Dewayne Tudor of Grand Blanc, MI. Eight Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Monday June 25, 2012 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. William K. Berry officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery, Orgas. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home.
